The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Hon. Comr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has extended warm Eid-el-Adha greetings to the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, and other top political leaders in the state.
In a goodwill message released on Tuesday, Waiya also felicitated with the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Alh. Umar Farouk Ibrahim, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ismail Falgore, APC Kano State Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, members of the State Executive Council, advisers to the governor, lawmakers, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and the entire people of Kano State on the occasion of the Eid-el-Adha celebration.
He specially extended his greetings to the Emir of Kano, HRH Alh. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, praying for continued peace, wisdom, and prosperity in the Kano Emirate and the state at large.
Waiya described Eid-el-Adha as a season of sacrifice, obedience, unity, and devotion to Almighty Allah, urging residents to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, compassion, and mutual respect during and after the festive period.
He commended the efforts of the Kano State government and critical stakeholders toward sustaining peace, promoting development, and advancing good governance across the state.
The Commissioner further prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and progress in Kano State and Nigeria, while wishing Muslims a successful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Adha celebration.
According to him, the occasion should also serve as a reminder of the need for unity and collective commitment toward the growth, stability, and development of Kano State and the Nigeria at large.
