Losing APC Primary Won’t Stop My Support For Tinubu -Cubana Chiefpriest

Popular socialite and entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has reaffirmed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections despite losing in the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

Speaking during an interview on Beat FM, Cubana Chiefpriest said his political loyalty remains unchanged, stressing that his support for the president goes beyond electoral outcomes.

According to him, the positive impact many people from the Yoruba ethnic group have had on his personal life and business journey influenced his decision to continue backing Tinubu and his administration.

“My loyalty lies with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. Many Yoruba people have touched my life positively, and I cannot forget them. My loss at the APC primaries does not change where I stand,” he said.

The celebrity businessman maintained that political setbacks would not affect his convictions or alter his relationship with the ruling party.

His comments have since generated reactions across social media platforms, with users expressing mixed opinions over his continued support for the president following his primary election defeat.

The interview clip, which has circulated widely online, has further fueled conversations around celebrity involvement in politics and loyalty within party structures ahead of the 2027 elections.
