I Go Save Questions Silence of First Ladies Over Oyo School Abduction

Nigerian comedian, Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, popularly known as I Go Save, has publicly questioned the silence of First Ladies across the country following the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State.

The entertainer expressed his concerns in a series of posts shared on Instagram, where he criticised what he described as the lack of public reaction from the wives of political leaders over the incident. He called on them to speak out and take a more active stance in addressing the situation.

In one of his posts, he wrote:

“Where are all the First Ladies in this country? Are you people true mothers? How do you all sleep at night knowing these innocent kids are still in captivity and being dehumanised? Your behaviours are making the devil look like a good man. Speak up, act and get those kids out now.”

He further added another statement questioning their silence, saying:

“Nigeria toothless lionesses, why are y’all silent? Speak up for these innocent kids.”

His remarks have since sparked mixed reactions online. While some social media users supported his frustration and emotional appeal over the incident, others argued that public office holders and their spouses may choose different channels to respond to security matters rather than making public statements.

The abduction in Oyo State continues to draw national attention, with growing calls for urgent action to secure the release of the victims and strengthen school security across affected areas.
