Gov. Mbah Swears In Two New Commissioners, Declares No Holiday for Appointees

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has sworn in two newly appointed commissioners, charging them to immediately settle into their responsibilities without expecting any form of break.


Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Mbah made it clear that his administration has no room for complacency, stressing that governance is a continuous process that demands commitment and urgency. He emphasized that public office is a call to service, not leisure, and that every appointee must be fully aligned with the administration’s development-driven agenda.


The governor urged the new commissioners to familiarize themselves quickly with their ministries, collaborate effectively with civil servants, and focus on delivering measurable results that will positively impact the lives of Enugu residents.


He further reiterated his administration’s resolve to maintain high standards of performance across all sectors, noting that appointments are based on competence, capacity, and readiness to work.
The ceremony marked another step in Governor Mbah’s efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate the pace of development in the state.
