The Ebonyi State Government has approved the indefinite suspension of the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Stanley Lebechi Mbam, and the Commissioner for Infrastructure Development for Concession, Engr. Ogbonnaya Obasi Abara.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Dr. Monday Uzor, the suspension was due to alleged dereliction of duties.
Dr. Uzor said the affected commissioners have been directed to hand over all government property in their possession, including official vehicles, to the Secretary to the State Government with immediate effect.
