TalkExprex Team Hits Lagos Streets for Year-End “Rant Shoot” Community Engagement

TalkExprex Media yesterday, Thursday launched a special year-end public engagement project in Lagos, creating an open space for residents to share honest reflections about their experiences in 2025.

The initiative, tagged “Rant Shoot,” is part of the platform’s new community-focused reporting approach, designed to capture real voices and lived experiences of everyday Nigerians beyond formal interviews.

During the field exercise, the TalkExprex team stationed themselves at key public spots in Lagos, collecting spontaneous opinions from commuters, workers, traders and young people on how the year has affected them socially, economically and emotionally.

The project aims to document the collective mood of Lagos residents at the close of the year, offering insights into public concerns, expectations and hopes. The video interviews are currently being processed and will be published across TalkExprex platforms.

The exercise also reinforces TalkExprex’s expanding presence in community-driven journalism, giving ordinary citizens a platform to speak freely in a relaxed, street-level environment.

Photos from the outing show participants engaging confidently with the crew, with many expressing gratitude for a chance to be heard.

More reactions will be shared when the clips go live.
