Singa Market Fire: Haruna Yahaya Kadana Sympathises with Affected Traders, Urges Government Support

Hon. Haruna Yahaya Kadana, Chairman of the ADC Candidate Forum in Kano State and aspirant for the Rogo/Karaye Federal Constituency, has extended his heartfelt condolences to traders affected by the recent fire incident at Singa Market in Kano State.


In a statement released on Friday, Kadana described the incident as deeply saddening, noting that the destruction caused by the fire has severely impacted the livelihoods and means of sustenance of many families.


I extend my heartfelt condolences to our brothers and sisters, the traders of Singa Market in Kano State, over the unfortunate fire incident that affected them and resulted in the loss of valuable properties,” he stated.


He added that the disaster has brought significant hardship to the affected traders and their families, many of whom depend entirely on their businesses for survival.


The ADC Candidate Forum Chairman prayed for divine intervention, asking Almighty Allah to replace the losses suffered with something better, grant the victims patience and resilience, and give them the strength to recover from what he described as a difficult trial.


Kadana also called on both the federal and Kano State governments, as well as relevant emergency and relief agencies, to urgently provide assistance to ease the hardship caused by the incident.


“I call on the federal and state government and relevant authorities to urgently provide support and relief to help ease the hardship caused by this disaster and assist those who have suffered losses,” he said.


He further prayed for continued peace and protection for Kano State and its residents, asking Allah to safeguard the state from future calamities.
